Franciscan Missions partners with Franciscan provinces, orders, and ministries around the world to carry on the work of Christ in the spirit of St. Francis. Below are a few of the partners who have helped to build orphanages, soup kitchens, schools, churches, housing, sustainable water projects, farms, and more.
OFM – Ordo Fratrum Minorum
The new website, the official voice of the entire Order of Friars Minor, is born out of the need to promote up-to-date and effective communication so that it reaches the hearts of all, in the hope that it will also become a fruitful spokesman for a message of peace and life.

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (B.V.M.) Prov.
The Franciscan fraternity of nearly 90 priests and brothers is the Assumption Province. Enjoying a bi-ritual identity of Roman and Byzantine Catholic, the friars of the province engage in many forms of work as it fosters the growth of the Kingdom of God in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi.
Santa Barbara Prov.
The Franciscan friars of the Province of St. Barbara, part of what is formally known as the Order of Friars Minor (OFM), are members of a Roman Catholic religious order of men. From a diversity of backgrounds and cultures, they are dedicated to serving the poor and promoting justice, peace, care of creation, and reconciliation. They do this in the joyful and prophetic spirit of St. Francis of Assisi.
Sacred Heart of Jesus Prov.
We Franciscans of the Sacred Heart Province profess and live the Gospel within the Catholic Church. Living in fraternity and walking with God’s people, especially those marginalized by society, we are heralds of peace and ministers of reconciliation.
Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary (B.V.M.) Prov.
Since 1855, the Franciscan friars of Immaculate Conception Province have striven to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ, following the example of our Seraphic Father, St. Francis. We minister to God’s people throughout the eastern seaboard of the US; in Toronto, Canada; and in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador in Central America.
Holy Name Prov.
The Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province form the largest of the seven provinces belonging to the worldwide Order of Friars Minor (OFM) in the United States. Since our founding in 1901, we have continued St. Francis’s mission to make the Gospel message alive in our contemporary world.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Prov.
We are the Franciscan friars of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a branch of the worldwide Roman Catholic fraternity of the Order of Friars Minor. Headquartered in Albuquerque, friars of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe serve throughout the Southwest with locations in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Texas. Since its founding in 1985, the province strives to continue St. Francis’ mission to spread the Gospel in our contemporary world.
St. John the Baptist Prov.
Living and proclaiming the Gospel is our goal. We do so as brothers to each other and to the world, living with and for the poor, promoting justice, peace and the care of creation, working with all women and men of good will and inviting them to share our Franciscan spirit. Facing our future with hope, we echo Francis of Assisi who said, “Let us begin again.”
We are Franciscan Media, a sponsored ministry of the Franciscan Friars of St. John the Baptist Province. We strive to inspire a loving world that embraces the Franciscan spirit of harmony, joy, and simplicity. May our resources renew your spirit as we share God’s love in the spirit of St. Francis.
Secular Franciscan Order
The Secular Franciscan Order was established by St. Francis of Assisi more than 800 years ago. Our purpose is to bring the Gospel to life where we live and where we work. We look for ways to embrace the Gospel in our lives and try to help others to do likewise.
