Twelve New Homes for Argentina’s Indigenous Communities
Every person deserves the dignity of a home that offers stability and peace. Every parent longs for a place where their children can sleep in safety at night.
In Argentina, our friars are serving indigenous families in the Tuyunti and Río Caraparí communities along the northern border with Bolivia. Led by Father Martin Caserta, OFM, our housing project aims to build twelve new homes for families facing deep poverty and long-standing marginalization.
Your gift can help make the dream of a home a reality for families served by Franciscan missionary friars.

In Argentina, a new brick home designed to provide long-term safety, dignity, and relief from severe overcrowding can be built for just $8,000.
You can be part of this life-changing experience for 12 families.
- With a gift of $100, you help provide bricks, cement, or other essential materials used to build a family’s home.
- Your $250 gift helps cover labor costs so skilled workers can safely construct walls and roofs.
- A gift of $500 helps provide doors, windows, and other features that make a home secure and weather-resistant.
- When you give $1,000, you help furnish a home with critical elements such as electrical connections, plumbing, or a finished floor.

These indigenous communities experience chronic overcrowding, unstable employment, and limited access to clean water, electricity, and other basic services.
One couple in the community, Ignacio and Fabiola, are raising their family under these extremely difficult conditions.
In their dwelling, six people share just two beds. They don’t have a kitchen, a refrigerator, or heat to protect them during the cold months. Their monthly income is extremely low, barely enough to meet the basic needs of their young family. Still, like parents everywhere, they long to give their children safety and stability.
A new home would offer Ignacio, Fabiola, and their four children dignity, protection, and the chance to grow in a safer, healthier environment.
You can help make a safe, new home possible.

A Home is a Small Miracle
The purpose of the Franciscan Housing Appeal project stems from one simple hope: that all would have a place where they can feel safe and loved—a place to call home.
When you help provide someone with a safe home, you are doing more than building a shelter. You are helping restore lives and futures that once felt out of reach.
Because of your generosity, families like Ignacio and Fabiola’s can continue to care for their young children in peace and comfort.
Thank you for your steadfast support and generosity. By standing with the Franciscan missionaries once more, we can accomplish beautiful miracles for God’s children. You are restoring safety, dignity, and hope to some of the poorest families in the world who deserve so much.

As always, you and your loved ones have a home in our hearts and in the prayers and Masses offered by Franciscan missionaries around the world.
May God bless you for helping 12 families experience the life-changing gift of a home.
With hope in Christ,
