The Order of Friars Minor (OFM)
The Order of Friars Minor (OFM), founded by St Francis of Assisi, is a fraternity of friars who abandon themselves totally to God with the profession of obedience, poverty and chastity, to be lived according to the spirit of St Francis. These are the men who do the mission work that your donations make possible. Every project funded by Franciscan Missions is the idea of a Franciscan friar or friars serving somewhere throughout the world, and is executed by those same friars in collaboration with members of their local community.
